Its even very interesting travel while reaching to this village by road, one can see beautiful landscapes around with very clear beautiful sky.

Also Pynter is close to India Bangladesh border, so beautiful plains of Bangladesh also seen bit far by the road, while traveling to Pynter.

Second very interesting fact of this village is,  Locals here are with their skills of playing musical instruments, also these local musical instruments made in village itself.

So for tourists visiting the village, it would be very unique experience to get arranged Local Music Orchestra of Pynter Village by locals here.

Let's see one by one...As Next....

            While Staying in Shilong,

We suggest to give preference to visit Ward Lake & Barra Bazaar.

Ward Lake is very beautiful lake & has big park around. Its such a beautiful place within a Shilong city that i feel like, it could be kind of pride of the city to have such amazing park. There is a eating place as well in this park.

While Bara Bazaar is the one that reflects Khasi culture & local life.

This bazaar or market settles on steps. and one can see many different sections of vegetables, fruits, fishes, meat, utensils, kitchen & farm equipment's etc.

Also one can see khasi ladies in their traditional attire and with big bamboo baskets selling Beatle nuts & paan leaves in those.

            Then in interior of Shilong,

Don Bosco Museum has good cultural presentation of all North East States through photos, small models etc.

            Just front of the museum,

one can also visit very famous Don Bosco Church.

Many travelers also loved to be at Glof Ground of Shilong

In Outskirts of Shilong, one can visit popular Elephant Falls and also at an hour driving distance drive from Shilong one can reach to Very Beautiful Laitlum Canyon.

If one also has more interest in seeing museums, then at 7 miles in Shilong one can see one very interesting Museum of Indian Airforce.

            While Staying Cherapunjee.

We always suggest to visit Wei Sowdong Falls first. Its being highly spectacular and beautiful to be there & experience,   This natural cascade arrangement of this fall with bluish green water flowing on beautiful brown rock gives heavenly feeling. One need to trek for approx. 20 mins to reach this waterfall.

One more waterfall I suggest to visit is Lyngksiar falls, Its still very offbeat & still very few people know about it.

And its hardly 3km distance from weig sowdong waterfall and little less trek required to reach the falls than it requires in reaching wei sowdong.fall.

Then one should give preference to visit other locations like Mawsmai Cave, Arwah Cave, Nokhalikai Waterfall, Seven Sister Waterfall etc.

The other very famous & interesting location to visit is Double Decker Root Bridge in Nongriat Village.

To reach this location, one should trek from Tyrna Village to Nongriat which is approx. 2.5 hrs trek route.

And to reach Tyrna reach village one should drive from Cherapunji approx. for 40 mins.

Further to Double Decker Bridge from Nongriat there is one more very spectacular location named Rainbow Fall. Its at 40 to 45 mins trek from Nongriat.

            Sohbar (Wahrew Bridge)

            Sohbar A Beautiful Offbeat Location

Sohbar  is one of the beautiful locations in Meghalaya.

And Wahrew Bridge is the Spectacular Arch Bridge over very beautiful

This area of Meghalaya still quiet unknown and offbeat for other states tourists of India, though many of the locals know it.

Sohbhar bridge also gives one alternative route to reach Cherapunji from Pynursla, where as one can explore this beautiful region while traveling through this route.

River view Wahrew River from Sohbar Bridge truly breath taking  and just beautiful.

One also can halt and stay at Mawlam Village which is mid way, while traveling via this route. So the route while traveling from Cherapunji to Mawlynnong will be,

            Cherrpunji - Sohbar - Mawlam - Pynursla - Mawlynnong.

Views at Wahrew Arch Bridge in Sohbar

              While Staying in Mawlynnong.

Then Mawlynnong Village being very famous being cleanest place is very pleasant to walk in, it feels like walking in a beautiful garden & same time one can observe local khasi life of Mawlynnong.

There are some view points in Mawlynnong Village, they are kind of bamboo machan, on which one can go up and can see village top view

and Also one can see vew of Bangladesh Plains, as Mawlynnong is also in region of Indo-Bangladesh Border Area.

At 2km from Mawlynnong, one can walk or drive to Riwai Village to see Living Root Bridge which is oldest, widest & strongest root bridge in Meghalaya.

At few mins walk from Riwai, one also can visit one spectacular view point in Nohwet village, which is named as Nohwet-Viewpoint.

One also can trek to Shiliang Jashar Village which is one more very beautiful village with beautiful water stream & beautiful bamboo bridge on it. Two very beautiful waterfalls also there to visit in this village.

While traveling by Dawki & Jowai.

While Driving from Mawlynnong to Shilong Via Jowai or Vice a versa.

It takes approx 8 to 10 hours including travel, halts for site seeing and meal breaks etc.

One can cover these places with sequence as start from Mawlynnong - Dawki - Shnongpdeng - Krang Suri Falls - Phe Phe Falls - Reach to Shilong. For this whole travel in a day, one can consider or keep.

Many also visit Dawki for having the boat ride in Umngot River here, and its exciting and beautiful experience during boat side as the water looks blush green & some part it look crystal clear, so you can see the bottom.

Shnongpdeng being very beautiful village on bank of Umngot River, the river initiate from here. I can say Shnongpdeng has better views while boating than in Dawki. Shnongpdeng also popular among tourists to do boat & kayak in crystal clear water of Umngot River with beautiful view around.

KrangShuri water falls being very spectacular with blue crystal clear water & very beautiful surrounding of hills and water stream attracts many Nature Lovers, there are many steps to reach down to this waterfall from road level. It takes approx. 15 to 20 mins to reach to this spectacular water fall.

One also can enjoy Zipline Ride here at KrangShuri Falls,  by which people slide through the valley with amazing view of this water fall.  After one reach to very close or bottom of waterfall, a crystal clear bluish water pool is seen and one can take dip in it with life jackets available here.

PhePhe falls which is approx. at 20 mins drive from Krangsuri was almost unknown and offbeat before, now slowly becoming known & popular among nature lovers.

Still many time when our guests reached here, the place was found very lonely, as hardly any visitors were there.

After one reach to area where vehicles can be parked.

To go to the falls by trek, spend some time & come back to the parked vehicle, it takes approx. 1.5 hrs.
