Bamboo being local farm product in Meghalaya and can be very well used for its strength and reliability to serve purpose of its various uses
like house building, building small river crossing bridges ,
and domestically used as in bamboo baskets, ceiling in houses, making house walls, and also in small articles like purses, ear rings, show pieces etc.
So we have few small items crafted from bamboo, those can be easily carried back home at end of Meghalaya travel or so by travelers to Meghalaya.
